Historic Woodstock, Georgia is a growing Atlanta suburb and home to an idyllic, main street that is lined with a rail road. Downtown Woodstock features shops, breweries and many restaurants. The city center blends the the old with the new. This lends to classic southern charm we love about the small cities and towns in Atlanta’s metropolitan area.

Century House
When I have out of town visitors, I always love taking them out to eat at the Century House. It blends the right atmosphere in the historic, refurbished house with outstanding American food with a few southern touches.

Canyons Fresh Grill
Canyons Fresh Grill is a quick service casual burger restaurant with two locations one in downtown Woodstock and the other in Canton. They are known by locals for their delicious food, consistent quality, large burger selection and outstanding service.

Vingenzo’s
Located in the strip mall adjacent to The Park at City Center in downtown Woodstock is a great Italian eatery focused traditional Italian pizza’s, handmade pasta, and of course a veal chop. Vingenzo’s is a neighborhood gem.

Salt Factory Pub
This is the third location for Salt Factory Pub and the food and experience are consistent with the other locations. It features an international inspired menu and is complemented with traditional pub food like burgers and pizza.
This is a fun spot to enjoy a pint, bourbon or glass of wine after a long day.

Rootstock Restaurant & Bar
If you are looking for a great date night restaurant in downtown Woodstock with live music, great cocktails and the option for tapas or entree’s.
They also have a large bourbon and wine selections.

Freight Kitchen & Tap
If you are looking for the most interest and unique restaurant in Downtown Woodstock, it has to be Freight Kitchen and Tap. The concept if farm to table, classic southern dishes. The restaurant has a great patio right on the rail line.

Reel Seafood
Reel is the seafood star in downtown Woodstock. Sometimes this restaurant gets busy, so plan ahead. This is the type of seafood menu that will make if very difficult to pick your entree because they all look fantastic.

Pure Taqueria
Pure Taqueria is one of the my favorite small Mexican chains in Atlanta. They specialize in preparing amazing taco’s, including some of the best birria taco’s in the metro Atlanta area that I have tasted.
In addition to taco’s, they amazing margarita’s and each location has something a little unique.
The restaurant in downtown Woodstock has an amazing rooftop deck and plenty of outdoor dining.

Queenies BBQ
Queenies is attached to the Reformation Brewery and the BBQ complements the brews. Enjoy the BBQ indoors or take it outside to the picnic tables and beer garden.
The whole smoke chicken wings are really tasty and don’t skip on the prime brisket.

Prime 120 Steakhouse
The only place in town with prime dry or wet aged steaks, cuts of wagyu or Kobe beef. This is the restaurant in Woodstock for premium cuts of beef that are cooked perfectly to order.
The chef finishes the steaks in Mugnaini wood ovens, which adds an additional layer of deliciousness.

There are a few options for hotels in Woodstock. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites – Woodstock is conveniently located off of 575 in the Outlet shopping mall area.
Also, there is a cluster of hotels off of 575 at 92. Your best bet is to use the map below to check for the good rate in this area.
