The 10 Best Restaurants in Dunwoody

Located in Dekalb county, in Georgia, Dunwoody borders the northern perimeter, just outside the perimeter. It is home to the perimeter mall, corporations, hospitals and or course there are some great restaurants in Dunwoody. Here are 10 of our favorite Dunwoody restaurants.

Cafe Sababa – Mediterranean Grill

This strip mall cafe, has a nice restaurant feel. They are serving some delicious middle eastern food. Don’t let the strip mall fool you, this is a neighborhood gem. If you are in the mood for Shawarma, Falafel or Gyro, make this your next stop.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse

Fogo de Chao needs know introduction if you are a fan of premium Brazilian steakhouses. They are one of the best Brazilian steakhouses in Atlanta area .

These restaurants are found across the United States and there are two locations in the metro Atlanta area, one in Dunwoody and one in Buckhead.

Typically, the churrasco experience is ordered here. They even have premium cuts you can add to your group order like, Wagyu ribeye

The Capital Grille

If you have traveled to most cities in the United States, you probably have seen a Capital Grille. It is one of the best premium chain steakhouses arounds. My personal favorite is the bone-in ribeye. It’s one of the better steaks around.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

If you are craving a prime cut of beef from a world class steakhouse, Flemings is a great option. They are located near the perimeter mall. It’s a great spot for a celebration or corporate dinner outing.

Novo Cucina

A casual Italian restaurant, with excellent food. Novo Cucina is your Dunwood location for excellent pizza, pasta or secondi. The restaurant has nice ambience anytime, but when its nice outside, they can open the doors and bring the outside into the restaurant.

Village Burger

This little family friendly burger chain delivers wonderful burgers, sandwiches and dogs. You will not get complaints from anyone in the family. Village Burger is our kids favorite spot for french fries.

Seasons 52

If you have dined premium restaurant chains, you are probably already familiar with Seasons 52. If not, you won’t be disappointed by their seasonally inspired menu, filled with seafood and meat dishes.

J. Alexander’s Restaurant

Up for wood-fired cuisine? J. Alexanders is a premium restaurant chain that is best know for their wood-fired, contemporary American inspired cuisine.

Joey D’s Oak Room

While you will find many small restaurant chains in the Dunwoody area, Joey D’s is all original. You will enjoy their seafood, excellent sandwiches or a cocktail or two.

HOBNOB Neighborhood Tavern

This small Atlanta based chain, is loaded with burger options, if you are a fan. If not, they have great entrees’ and appetizers and one of the largest whiskey selections I have encountered.

Bonus Spot – NFA Burger

While not a traditional restaurant, NFA Burger is a quick service location in a Chevron gas station. The secret is out. They have some of the best burgers in Atlanta for a very reasonable price. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and see for yourself!
