Rumi’s Kitchen

Rumi's Kitchen Avalon Restaurant in Alpharetta

Rumi’s Kitchen is delicious Persian cuisine. The menu is primarily kabobs and rice dishes, but they are some of the best kabobs and rice I ever tasted. You will not be disappointed with the food.

Rumi’s kitchen can get expensive, like when I devoured the Lamb Rack for $45. There are many other dishes that fall more into a moderate priced entrĂ©e slightly over $20.

Other favorites are the hummus appetizer, and the rice is unbelievable.

Make reservations, as this place is very popular.

Colletta

After moving South from the Philadelphia area, we craved delicious Italian food here in metro Atlanta. We tried many restaurants, but none could even come close to the quality of Italian food we loved up North. That is, until Colletta opened a few years ago.

The menu of modern Italian food at Colletta is served in four courses:

  • Antipasti
  • Pizza
  • Pasta
  • Entree’s

If you are sharing a four course meal among 2 people, expect to spend about $100. If you add in some wine or drinks add that on top.

While there is more to Bocado than just burgers, we usually visit this restaurant to get an incredible burger. This is not really a quick service burger spot, it is a full service restaurant.

The Avalon burger is pretty delicious and is one of the best burgers in Atlanta.

The restaurant has plenty of outdoor, covered seating.
