Here is our full review explaining why Crust Pasta & Pizzeria should be a regular spot to satisfy your Italian cravings in Alpharetta.

You know those restaurants that you continue to hear good things about but never actually go to. You always mean to try it, to see what all the fuss is about, but you always end up at your usual spot instead. That was Crust for our family. That is until we decided to give it a try after going to an Atlanta United game at Mercedes Benz Stadium.

We arrived just after the game, so we were trying to get seated just after 5 pm on a Sunday. The place was mobbed and we were told it would be a 20 minute wait.

We decided to take seat in the waiting area, and after a few minutes a table opened up on a high top table near the bar. We were famished, so we decided to take it.

Crust Restaurant in Alpharetta

Most likely the reason we have never tried Crust, is because of the location. The restaurant sits in a strip mall, on a busy intersection of Highway 9 and Old Milton Parkway. It’s a walkable area from Alpharetta city center, but it’s not right in the central area.

We let the location fool us. The food is worth the visit. Now we consider it one of our favorite downtown Alpharetta restaurants.

As I mentioned, the kids were “starving” after the soccer match. We immediately ordered garlic knots. Usually I pass on garlic knots, but they smelled fantastic, and they were. So much so, that we ordered a second round. One garlic knot each was not enough.

After rounds of negotiation, my wife and couldn’t decide on what we wanted to order, so we decided to split an order of chicken parmigiana and order a pizza. The chicken parmigiana came with a salad. My wife and I split the salad as well.

The chicken parmigiana was hands down one of the best tasting in metro Atlanta area.

We also ordered the pizza knowing there would be leftovers. We decided on the Crust Special.

When ordering pizza at a new place, I always like to try their signature pizza.

The pizza was excellent. The “crust” was perfectly crispy and the toppings were plentiful. My only complaint was that the pizza and crust were too salty for my preferences, especially the rim of the crust had an abundance of salt. But, I would order this pizza again.
