Located in Cumberland, GA in The Battery Atlanta, is the Coca-Cola Roxy. This concert venue was opened in 2017 and was named after the torn down Roxy Theatre.
While not our first time to The Battery, that was to the Atlanta Braves Stadium, this was our first event at the Coca-Cola Roxy.
Inside The Coca-Cola Roxy
We saw an Amy Schumer comedy show at the Roxy. Unfortunately for this show, we were required to lock up our phones with a locking pouch. I think this was to prevent people from taking videos of the performance.
The Roxy is a really nice, intimate venue. On the main floor, there were chairs that led up to the main stage. For concerts, you could imagine it being open.
There is a second level with seating, where we sat. You could see the stage fine, but I couldn’t make out facial expressions. Check the seat map for more details.
On the way up to the second floor you pass by VIP lounge. For this show, it only had a few people inside.
There were bars on either side of the main floor and there was a bar upstairs. The drinks were expensive. My Tito’s and soda was $17 and my beer was $13.
The Location
Just 10 miles northwest of downtown Atlanta, you will find the Coca-Cola Roxy, in Cumberland, part of Cobb County. It is part of what is now known as The Battery Atlanta. The Battery officially opened in 2017. The Battery is full of restaurants and entertainment venue’s, including the Atlanta Braves stadium.
Parking Near the Coca-Cola Roxy
Make a plan. Driving around the The Battery is not fun. In fact, it is down right stressful. If I had endless money, I would just use the valet. We ended up going into the green lot and forced to do a U turn to get out, while dozens of cars were trying to do the same thing.
The better option, head to an upper floor in the red deck. This will help you avoid circling the Battery looking for the lot while trying to avoid the many pedestrians and traffic gridlock. The red deck is accessible before entering the main streets of the Battery.

Parking was free for the first 2 hours. After that it cost $20. I believe the parking prices at The Battery are variable depending on what is happening.
Restaurants Near The Coca-Cola Roxy in Battery Atlanta
If you are looking for a place to eat and down some drinks before the show or just visiting the Battery Atlanta, there are many places to walk to from the Coca-Cola Roxy.
- Goldbergs is a chain featuring great breakast and deli sandwiches. They also have some of the best bagels in Atlanta.
- Wahlburgers is a burger chain serving some delicous burgers brought to you from the famous Wahlberg family.
- Cru Food and Wine Bar is a chain restaurant that also offers a great selection of wines.
- Superica is a small Tex-Mex chain that also serves a great margarita.
- Yard House is a high end sports bar chain with a large selection of beers on draft.
- Garden and Gun Club is a southern style restaurant that also features some great hand crafted cocktails.
- Antico Pizza is one of our favorite Atlanta based pizza chains and features traditional Italian style pizza.
- PH’EAST is Asian style food that resembles street food that is prepared in the hawker markets in Asia.
Hotels Nearby The Roxy
- Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta has a few rooms with balconies overlooking the ball park. This is not the cheapest option, but if you want a view of Atlanta Braves Stadium, this is your option.
- Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Galleria is located within close walking distance to the stadium.
- Aloft Atlanta at The Battery Atlanta is Marriots trendy new concept that is just steps away from Truist Park.
- Doubletree Suites by Hilton at The Battery Atlanta is very close to the stadium.
There are a few more options that could be slightly cheaper, but may require a slightly longer walk.
