Located near Little Five Points, A Cappella books has been selling books since 1989 and survived through the internet revolution and multiple business relocations. This family owned, niche bookstore in Atlanta has been home to curating book selections for over 30 years. This multi-cultural bookstore focuses on “unbiased literature that is true to the rich culture of excellence experienced and expressed in the Black community world-wide.” Each month they curate a few books called the “Flavor of the Month.”

Atlanta is lucky to be home to two locations of this small indie bookstore, that also has locations in New York and Boston. This is a family owned business, that started selling college text books and since, has been in the book store industry for 50 years. Stop by, you will leave a little happier on the way out.

They have a location in Ponce Market downtown Atlanta and in the Avalon in Alpharetta.
