The Main Event in Metro Atlanta is an extremely fun venue, with lots to do for the entire family. In this post, we will review everything you need to know before visiting one of the Main Event locations in the Atlanta Area.

The Main Event has three locations in metro Atlanta, one near the Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, one in the North Point Mall in Alpharetta, and one in Suwannee, a few miles from Mall of Georgia.

For the uninitiated, the Main Event is one of the best bowling alleys in Altanta. Yet, it is more than a bowling alley. The concept is a bar and restaurant with fun activities like laser tag, pool tables, shuffle boards and an arcade.

As an adult, it is equally fun to visit the Main Event with kids or without kids for meeting up with friends or colleagues after work.

Main Event in Atlanta – Fun Things To Do

  • Bowling at the Main Event is not very different from your traditional bowling alley. The main difference is the technical experience, it is immersive. You can create a name and have the system score away, all with cool animations. There are also large tv screens playing various music videos or sports games.
  • Laser Tag is great for birthday parties, corporate outings or just playing with new friends at the Main Event. 48 inches tall is the minimum height requirement to play laser tag and this is one of the best places to play laser tag in Metro Atlanta.
  • Gravity Ropes – Kids can be secured and experience the ultimate indoor adventure challenge of gravity ropes. The gravity ropes has tightropes, beams and obstacles they will need to overcome.
  • The Arcade at the Main Event – There are the latest arcade games, VR simulators, air hockey tables and more. Just load them a card and off they go.
  • Billiards and Bar Games – There are many pool tables you can reserve to play with friends around the bar area. There are also a few full length shuffle board tables.
  • Bar and Restaurant – the restaurant is mostly pub fare. Expect appetizers, burgers or pizza as typical menu selections.
