Olde Blind Dog is an Irish pub in the Atlanta suburb of Milton, Ga. Atypical from a normal Atlanta restaurant review from us, I have been to Olde Blind Dog more times than I care to admit. This pub became a centralized spot after a monthly golf round, for the 19th hole. So, I have plenty of experience at this restaurant and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Milton.
This Irish pub hosts many events in Crabapple. It offers a cornhole league on the Milton green, road biking and even an annual 5k and craft beer festival.
What I love most about this restaurant is the inside decor. It is loaded with character.
Old Blind Dog Restaurant
The restaurant has plenty of outdoor seating. They added a covered porch, perfect for rainy days.
Inside, you will find booths, tables and a large bar area. Every booth has unique decor. You will even find a large statue of of Mel Gibson from Braveheart.
The bar area has a large projector screen perfect for sports watching.
On draft, you will find the usual Irish pub brews like Guiness, Harp and Smithwick’s. Previously they had a large local craft brew selection, but this most recent time they only had Tropicalia, which I ordered.
They have a large selection of scotch and other whiskeys. They have whiskey flights if you are up for sampling something new.
OIde Blind Dog Food
I have a couple of go to menu items at this restaurant. This time around I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. This is a double breast sandwich. You can get it grilled, however I always order it fried. This is a very spicy sandwich. It is layered in buffalo sauce and topped with pepper jack. If you don’t like spicy, order something else.
My other favorite dish is the shepherds pie. It’s one of the best shepherds pie I have ever tried.
The other two sandwiches I return to are the burger and the meatloaf sandwich.
My kids love the chicken tenders and of course the fries. They have outstanding fries and one of the only restaurants the have malt vinegar sitting on all the tables.
Olde Blind Dog Irish Pub is located at 12650 Crabapple Rd. Milton, GA. Stop in for a game, brunch or after one the many events in Crabapple.
