The Krog Street Market is a well known food market and great location to enjoy a bite to eat or a drink. The market is located in Inman Park, a very popular Atlanta neighborhood. The market and district is located on Krog Street in between Edgewood Street and Irwin Street.
It is located just a short walk from the Eastside Trail. The surrounding area is under significant development. The market area is now being called the Krog Street District as more shops and restaurants are opening in the area, formally known at the Stove Works.
Why You Should Visit
The Krog Street Market is a great place to spend an afternoon while visiting Atlanta. You can find great food and drinks, walk the trail and even snap a photo at the famous Krog Street Tunnel, which is just a few blocks waway.
The Krog Street Market is a great place to take a break along the Eastside Trail on the Atlanta BeltLine. You can grab a bite to eat from one of the many vendors in the market.
You may also enjoy a local craft brew or a coffee and hang out in the market.
Once you grab your food or brew of choice, enjoy them in “the living room,” a communal dining experience.

- Fred’s Meat and Bread offers international inspired sandwich creations like a Korean cheesesteak, cauliflower and eggplant bahn mi, or an Italian grinder.
- Jai Ho – Indian Kitchen has Indian dished prepared not your traditional way. Try an Indian burrito, a naan wrap or other street eats.
- Ticonderoga Club is a colonial era, throwback restaurant with great seafood, sandwiches or try one of their specialty made cocktails-to-go.
- Bar Mercado serves vibrant fare from Latin and Spanish cultures like empanadas, tapas, or Parradilla.
- Superica is a chain tex-mex restaurant that also features live music from time to time. They also serve a serious margarita.
- Soul: Food & Culture has all your favorite soul food sandwiches and plates like chicken and waffles, fried catfish, chicken wings and hush puppies.
- Gu’s Dumplings offers dumplings, noodles or your traditional meat Chinese food, like Kung Poa or General Tso’s.
- Yalla is a colorful spot to enjoy some of your favorite middle eastern fare, like falafel or a shawarma.
- Makimono has sushi and Asian fusion with dishes like Korean BBQ and a variety of Bento Box.
Shops and Tasty Treats In The Krog Street Market
Hop City Craft Beer and Wine is a local beer and wine shop that also has many beers on tap, if you just want to enjoy something right then and there.
In addition, there are other ice cream shops, a chocolate shop and a bakery if you are looking for something sweet.
More Information
The Market is expanding to become the Krog Street District. There are plenty more shops and restaurants in the district area.
There is a parking lot, but its fairly small and not really worth trying for a spot at a popular time like Saturday. There’s plenty of street parking within 2 blocks, but it might take some time to find.
