The Eastern is a concert venue that is part of a mixed-used development project in the Reynoldstown neighborhood of Atlanta. The Eastern was built during COVID, and was opened in late 2021.
It is great venue to see due to its size. The Atlanta concert venue feels intimate and no matter which ticket you hold, you will be close enough to all the action on stage. The layout of the venue actually reminds me of the Atlanta Tabernacle, but newer.
Below, you will find some helpful tips and everything you need to know before the show.
The Eastern Venue Information
Most of the tickets available are on the main floor. For this concert, the main floor was standing room only. On this level you could find drink stands and all the concert apparel from the artists.
Upstairs was the mezzanine level. There is standing room on this level, however if you will likely be told to head back to your seats. For our first concert at The Eastern, we had first row mezzanine seats. They were great, you could see everything on stage and avoid the mosh pit.
Behind the mezzanine is the 300 level seats. You are slightly more set back from the stage, but you can still see everything.
I heard there was a rooftop with food. I did not go up there this time, mostly because of a lack of awareness. If you want to check it out, here is the menu.
The Eastern features state of the art sound. I can attest to the acoustics and loudness of the concert venue. My ears were ringing for 2 days. Plan accordingly.
The Eastern Venue Capacity
The stated capacity of The Eastern in Atlanta is 2,300. The majority of tickets will be standing room only on the main floor. There are mezzanine and upper level seats for most shows.
