Georgia Aquarium

The Georgia Aquarium is hands down, the most asked for attraction from our kids and we have been season pass holders for 2 years and have visited at least 30 times. Kids cannot get enough of it. Every trip they find a new animal that was their favorite of the day. Sometimes, its “Destiny” they call the whale shark that after Finding Dory. Other times, they find the octopus hiding or we take in the dolphin show. Once in a while the sea otters mesmerize them for 30 minutes.

On weekends it can get extremely crowded. Our favorite time to visit was Tuesday mornings when it first opens. The kids can roam around and spend as much time as they want without being rushed through.

The thing is, we never had a bad experience at the Georgia Aquarium.

Zoo Atlanta

We recently took our first trip to Zoo Atlanta after they refinished the African Savannah exhibit. My kids were blown away. The new rhinoceros was exciting. However, the elephant exhibit kept them entertained. We walked around the large exhibit for what felt like an hour. We purchased our season pass multiple years in a row to Zoo Atlanta, making this the second best attraction for kids in Atlanta.

And who can forget the train. Every time we go, we need to ride the zoo train.
