But first, for the uninitiated, what is laser tag?
Laser Tag For Beginners in Atlanta
Most venue’s are indoors, usually found in a special room that is typically a little dark. Some use black lights to provide some added appeal.
Depending on the size of your group, you will be separated into teams. Each player is equipped with a laser gun and a vest that serves as a beacon to receive lasers shots from the other team.
If you are wondering, its not like paintball, it doesn’t hurt at all.
Once the game starts the teams battle and they try to accumulate the most points by shooting lasers at the opponent.

Main Event
Minimum Requirement to Play Laser Tag: 48 inches tall
The Main Event has three locations in metro Atlanta, one near the Cumberland Mall in Atlanta, one in the North Point Mall in Alpharetta, and one in Suwannee, not far from Mall of Georgia.
For those who have never been, the Main Event concept is a bar and restaurant with fun activities like laser tag, bowling alleys, pool tables, shuffle boards and an arcade. There is really something for everyone to have a good time.

Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Center
Minimum Requirement to Play Laser Tag: none, but 5 years old is recommended.
With 5 locations in the suburbs of Atlanta, usually there is a Stars and Strikes not very far to many residents in the suburbs of Atlanta. At Stars and Strikes, you can play laser tag, bowling, axe throwing, bumper cars, arcade and much more. Its fun for the entire family.
They have locations with laser tag in Cumming, Woodstock, Dacula, Dallas and Stone Mountain.
The laser tag at Stars and Strikes is usually 2 stories of fun, except Dacula, it is only 1 story.
