On my journey to find the best burger in Atlanta, I recently stopped in at the Farm Burger in Dunwoody. I was really excited to try their burgers because a friend had highly recommended it. Below you will find our review of Farm Burger.
I heard of it before as there are a few Farm Burger locations in many of the best neighborhoods of Atlanta.
We finally got to stop in and see what all the fuss is about.
The one thing that I love is that they use grass fed beef for a few of their burgers.
Farm Burger Dunwoody Location
The farm burger in Dunwoody is located in a strip mall.
Not that there is anything wrong with a strip mall, however it felt a little tired.
Many of the other Farm Burger locations have a full, unique building.
The interior still had plenty of character.
Even though this is a quick service burger restaurant, you can still order a beer or two, which is nice. They had a few good brews on the menu like a Doppleboch from Tucker Brewing, which I was excited to try. However, it was only noon and we had a full day, so I ordered an iced tea.
There is covered seating outside, if weather permits. There is also a little ice cream shop inside the restaurant.
The Food At Farm Burger
The menu was mainly burgers, although you could get a pulled pork sandwich or a chicken sandwich.
If you are vegan or vegetarian, they do have a homemade vegan burger.
I wanted to order the Farm burger, but my wife beat me to it. Instead of doubling up on the order, I doubled up on the beef.
I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger.
This burger came with two large patties, bacon, cheddar, onions, pickles and mustard. When it came out, it looked amazing.
While I enjoyed the burger, it ate a little heavy. The burger patties were thick and a little dry to my liking. Also, my burger was extremely salty. It was a good burger, but I think I would have been happier with a single patty burger given the size.
No fries came with the burgers, so for a side, I order the pimento cheese fries. They were topped with pickled jalapenos. They were good, but it was way too much for my wife and I to eat.
My wife order the farm burger, which I liked much better than my own. This burger came with a grass fed beef patty, caramelized onions and farm burger sauce, which is a mayo and chili sauce combination sauce. I enjoyed the sauce.
The burgers where a good value at around $10. But add a few more dollars depending if you want fries. Overall, our short summary review is that Farm Burger offers a tasty burger at a good price.
The Dunwoody Farm Burger is located at 4514B Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, Dunwoody, GA 30338.
