If you envision a perfect date night on a dinner cruise in Atlanta, unfortunately you need to set your sights outside the city of Atlanta. There isn’t much cruising on the Chattahoochee River. But there are dinner cruises available nearby, outside the city.

Yes, Atlanta is mostly a land locked city. The entire state of Georgia is landlocked, with the exception of the beautiful golden isles of Georgia.

Luckily, there are many lakes and rivers to explore via boat.

If you live in Atlanta, you probably have heard about Margaritaville at Lanier Islands resort. It is known for its water park and lake access in the summertime, its golf course, hiking, and its snow tubing in the winter. Few know about its sunset cruise, moon cruise or the brunch cruise.
