Pho is considered Vietnam’s national dish. Rightfully so, it’s utterly delicious whether you like it spicy or not. It’s wonderful that we can find some of the best Pho spots right here, in Atlanta.
If your not sure what Pho is, that’s ok. I only started eating Vietnamese food about seven years ago. Bummer, now I am thinking about all the years of Pho I missed.
What is Pho?
Pho is a soup dish made of tasty broth, rice noodles, herbs, and meat. Commonly Pho is served with fresh garnishes like basil, cilantro, radishes, and lime. Many times it is served with bean spouts and chilies, optionally on the side. It all depends if you prefer the crunch of the bean sprouts and the heat of the chilies.
Pho is a popular food in Vietnam. It is served everywhere from households and restaurants countrywide.

This is where my Pho obsession started. In my previous life, I worked down the street from this restaurant and I ate Pho from here more than I’d like to admit. I can remember the lines at lunch through the restaurant and down the street.
